tinySpell

tinySpell is a freeware program that checks your spelling while you type. This program is a stand alone spell checker that will check your spelling in any word processing application or text entry window. The program runs in the system tray and shows a white TS icon to indicate properly spelled words but changes to a yellow icon and beeps when you have typed an incorrect word. By clicking on the yellow icon you bring up a message window as illustrated in the screen shot, which shows you alternate spellings of the word you typed. You have the option of ignoring the word, adding the word to the dictionary, if you're sure it is correct so it won't bother you again or you can click on the correct spelling and tinySpell will automatically retype the word correctly. KeyWallet

KeyWallet is a free program that stores your log-in usernames and passwords encrypted on your hard drive. To log-in go to the web page you have an account at and bring up the KeyWallet program and scroll to the appropriate key and drag and drop the key icon to the username field. The program does the rest of the work of logging in, automatically entering your username and password and it even presses return for you. All without you having to touch your keyboard. This is accomplished by a macro which is basically an automated program that carries out your prerecorded commands. The program default skin looks like an open leather wallet. If you want to change the skin just download a different one from the KeyWallet website. I have been using this program for a number of months and it works great. It really speeds up log-ins, doing it much faster than can be done by manual keyboard entry.

INSTRUCTIONS: To program KeyWallet click on the New Key icon located at the top of the wallet. Another window will come up and you have the option of making a new key automatically or manually. When first learning how to enter usernames and passwords I would recommend using the Create New Key Automatically option which is the default. After pressing next an Automatic key creation window comes up and all you do is drag and drop the little crosshairs icon on the first username entry line where you normally log in. You then carefully type your username hit the tab key then type your password and hit enter. After doing this you click on the square stop button and the program has recorded your username and password. Then you give your key a name and you have recorded a key to use for the program. Basically all this is, is a macro that automates your log-in sequence so you don't have to look up your passwords or copy and paste them. It is important that when first making a key with KeyWallet that you enter your username and password correctly and when you sign in that you use the tab key to move to the next position when entering your password or the macro won't work properly because it records exactly what you tell it. So if you enter an incorrect username or password your log-in by KeyWallet will fail just as it would if you were doing it manually. Click on the link to visit their website.
